The blast on INS Ranvir, a destroyer ship that belongs to the Indian Navy, killed three personnel. The accident had resulted in 11 navy members experiencing injuries. The main cause behind the explosion may have been a gas leak in the vessel’s air-conditioning unit.
An official reported that a Board of Inquiry is investigating the incident. It seems that the blast had been a result of a major gas leak inside the air-conditioning compartment.
