Dutch Port Workers Deny Russian Oil Tanker From Docking

Russia’s vessels are not permitted to dock anywhere in Europe owing to the sanctions regime, but Sunny Liger, Russia’s oil tanker, sails under the flag of the Marshall Islands and is, therefore, exempt.

Employees working at the Port of Amsterdam have been refusing to unload an oil tanker from Russia that was earlier refused docking at a port in Sweden, and has now been anchored in the sea lock in IJmuiden, NOS broadcaster reported.
