The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) is seeking public comment on a proposed plan to collect information on imports and exports by common carriers operating vessels that meets a requirement set forth as part of Public Law 116-146, the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022 (OSRA).
More specifically, the law requires the Commission to collect and publish the total import and export tonnage and the total loaded and empty TEU per vessel of vessels calling on the US.
