According to a US Department of Transportation announcement, PortMiami will receive a US$16 million Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant for its NetZero: Cargo Mobility Optimisation and Resiliency Project.
The NetZero Program is a plan to convert the entire cargo movement chain to a carbon-neutral operation, from PortMiami’s channel to its final point of distribution.
