The Three Gorges Dam’s shipping throughput, the world’s biggest hydropower project, touched a new record in the last year, the Three Gorges Navigation Authority mentioned on Monday.
The project’s throughput touched 159.8 million tons in 2022, an increase of 6.12% yearly.
Last year, the assignment’s cargo throughput was about 159.65 million tons, a year-on-year rise of 6.53%. In the meantime, the throughput at the dam via five-tier ship locks was reported to be 156.18 million tons, up 6.65% year...
