Medkon Lines has acquired its largest vessel to date, according to Alphaliner, from Sea Consortium.
The Turkish container shipping company paid approximately US$4 million for the boxship X-Press Brahmaputra, which has a box capacity of 1,162 TEUs and was built in 1997.
The container ship will be renamed Medkon Mira and Medkon Lines will now operate a total of 13 vessels.
