According to the service, sailors of the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln successfully extinguished an electrical fire that broke out on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) close to 2 p.m. on 28 June.

The ship’s nonessential personnel were safely evacuated from the vessel, and no one suffered injuries during this event, Cmdr. Zach Harrell, a spokesman associated with Naval Air Forces, informed Defense News.
