China's Largest Dual-Fuel Car Carrier With Capacity Of 7600 Vehicles Launched

SAIC Motor‘s first-ever deep sea car carrier has been launched in the historic Shanghai shipyard, Jiangnan. The vessel will be put into operation in 2024 and will carry about 7,600 vehicles, the carmaker revealed on Tuesday, adding that the diesel- and LNG-powered vessel is going to be deployed on the manufacturer’s line to Europe, which began its operations in 2020 and New Zealand and Australia.
