THE Nautilus International trade union is lobbying to have Swiss shipowners urge the Swiss government to save the Swiss flag from near extinction on the high seas, reports Singapore’s Splash 247. Only 14 ships are still part of the Swiss fleet. After the expiry of the respective guarantee granted for each ship, these 14 ships will leave Switzerland in the next two to five years.
