The Japan-based shipping company, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK), has introduced its first LNG-fueled Panamax-class bulker, the “SHOYO,” into service. The ship will primarily transport coal for Kyushu Electric Power Co.’s coal-fired power plants.
