While the general cargo ship Ann Rousing was loading scrap on 13 October in Amager, Copenhagen, Denmark, a severe fire broke out in the cargo hold.
According to Maritime Bulletin, firefighters managed to control the fire, but they had to be careful not to dump too much water into the ship, fearing stability loss. The ship was surrounded by floating booms, and no leaks had been detected at the time.
