World’s Oldest Sailing Ship ‘Star of India’ To Sail for First Time in 5 Years on 160th Birthday

The oldest active sailing vessel in the world, dubbed Star of India, is leaving the waterfront this coming weekend, per an announcement by the Maritime Museum of San Diego.

An experienced crew has been getting ready to take the ship out to the waters, as it has not sailed for 5 years, i.e. since November 2018.
