Turkish police on Nov 14 announced a new drug bust, made on board of Capesize bulk carrier BERGE TORRE, berthed at Iskenderun coal terminal in Gulf of Alexandretta, eastern Med. 52 kilos of cocaine were wrapped in 45 packages in 2 durable plastic bags, bags were found in chain locker, hidden in anchor chain – or so police says. The ship arrived on Nov 12 from Colombia. As it is already a habit in Turkey, all crew including Captain were arrested, investigation or whatever, is under way.
