President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has formally launched the second phase of the Tema Port Expansion Project.
The programme, which is an important part of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority’s (GPHA) master plan, includes a fleet of 15 cutting-edge gantry cranes as well as considerable civil works development.
The second phase of the Tema Port Expansion Project involves paving an area of 270,000 square meters, increasing the terminal’s size to 1,270,000 square meters.
