11 Crew Members Rescued After Cargo Ship Sinks Off Jeju Island

On 15 February, the General Cargo vessel dubbed the KEUM YANG 6 encountered a terrible flooding incident close to the shores of Seogwipo on Jeju Island in South Korea. The ship was sailing from GWANGYANG in South Korea to China and was loaded with heavy iron plates when it listed (nearly 25 degrees) close to Jeju Islands owing to a flooding accident.
