Port of Savannah nears 430,000 TEUs in January

The Port of Savannah handled a total of 428,000 TEUs in January, showing a moderate increase of 1.5% (equivalent to 6,300 containers) compared to the same month last year.

In January, rail cargo throughput at the Port of Savannah surged to 47,132 containers, marking a significant 27% increase of 10,000 boxes compared to the previous period.
