Kalmar, a part of Cargotec, has entered into an agreement with APM Terminals Pier 400 Los Angeles to deliver two new Kalmar electric AutoStrads and upgrade two existing hybrid straddle carriers.
These additions and modifications will contribute to APM Terminal’s US$60 million electrification initiative. The significant order was recorded in Cargotec’s Q1 2024 order intake, with the pilot program set to begin in Q4 2024.
