Russia has announced that a group of warships has arrived in Iran to participate in maneuvers with both countries across the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
Russia’s defence ministry, in a statement quoted by state media on Monday, mentioned that the joint exercises, referred to as “Maritime Security Belt—2024,” are likely to involve war vessels and aviation.
