On March 23, 2024,the US Navy identified a sailor, Oriola Michael Aregbesola, 34, who had gone overboard as he was deployed to the Red Sea.
The sailor was an Aviation Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class. On Wednesday, he went overboard from the USS Mason, military officials informed. He had been assigned to the Swamp Foxes associated with Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 74.
