Green methanol-powered feeder service launches at Port of Gothenburg

On Saturday 18 May, a new feeder service began regular calls at the Port of Gothenburg. This service is operated by Laura Maersk, the world’s first container ship powered by green methanol.

Laura Maersk is part of Maersk’s significant initiative to utilize renewable methanol as a ship fuel, marking the beginning of a fleet expansion with over 20 methanol-powered ships scheduled for delivery between 2024 and 2027.
