U.S. Navy Intercepts And Destroys Houthi-Launched Drone In Latest Red Sea Attack

The US Central Command forces successfully destroyed an uncrewed aerial system (UAS) fired from an Iranian-backed Houthi-controlled area of Yemen at approximately 10 a.m. (local time) on May 26.

It was determined that the UAS posed a risk to merchant vessels in the region.

Earlier on May 25, Houthis fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBM) at around 3:50 a.m. (local time) towards the Red Sea.
