Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding with UK-based Armada Technologies, a provider of a new hull air lubrication system. In future the two parties will collaborate on installing Armada’s Passive Air Lubrication Systems (PALS) on vessels with the aim of improving their energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
