Chinese ports handled 190.9 million TEUs from January to July, marking an 8.3% year-on-year increase.
In July, Shanghai Port recorded a container throughput of 4.84 million TEUs, reflecting a 15.1% year-on-year growth, while Ningbo Zhoushan Port handled 3.35 million TEUs, up by 5.3% compared to the previous year.
The two busiest ports in China have also enjoyed container volumes increases in the first seven months of the year of 8.6% and 7.9% respectively.
