Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) has set a record as the first container terminal in Malaysia, handling more than 12.25 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in 2024, reports Business Times.
The achievement surpassed PTP’s previous record of 11.2 million TEUs in 2021, further solidifying its position as Malaysia’s leading and largest transshipment hub.
