Port Botany rail capacity to be doubled to 1m TEU

DUBAI’s DP WORLD and NSW Ports have announced a co-investment of AUD400 million (US$249 million) to expand the rail terminal at Sydney’s Port Botany. The move will see capacity at the improved facility more than double, from 400,000 TEU to 1 million TEU per annum, reports Australia’s Daily Cargo News.
