Pacific International Lines (PIL) announced the naming of its fourth 14,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessel.
The boxship was named Kota Embun and was christened by Evelyn Ng, wife of Ng Kee Choe, Deputy Chairman of PIL, during a ceremony at Shanghai’s Jiangnan Shipyard.
Derived from the Malay word for “dew,” Embun symbolizes renewal and harmony with nature, reflecting PIL’s commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly shipping.
