DP World to Begin £1bn London Gateway Expansion

DP World will begin a £1 billion expansion of London Gateway in May 2025, which will take four years to complete.
The project includes two new 400-meter all-electric berths, making it the UK’s largest container port, able to handle six of the world’s largest container ships.
The expansion includes a second rail terminal to promote cargo transport via rail, reducing road traffic and emissions.
