FREIGHT rates from Shanghai to Los Angeles fell two per cent to US$2,617 per FEU according to the last week’s Container Index of spot rates. Shanghai to New York decreased three per cent, or $95, to $3,611. Rates from Los Angeles to Shanghai remained stable.
