The Ningbo Containerised Freight Index, compiled by the Ningbo Shipping Exchange and promoted by the Baltic Exchange, provides a weekly composite index covering 20ft, 40ft, and Hi-Cube box rates for various routes, reports Baltic Exchange.
The index is updated every Friday (except Chinese holidays) at 1600 (Beijing) and includes surcharges such as bunker adjustment factor, fuel adjustment factor, and currency adjustment factor.
