Angeliki Frangou-led Navios Maritime Partners is being named behind an order for up to four container ships contracted in South Korea.
The New York-listed company has contracted HJ Shipbuilding & Construction for two 7,900 TEU vessels worth approximately US$110 million each. Both vessels feature the highest eco standards in line with the company’s decarbonization strategy and are fitted with scrubbers.
The boxships are expected to be delivered in 2026.
