The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will conduct a regional environmental review of the six New York Bight offshore lease areas offshore New York and New Jersey. Biden budget seeks $237.4 million for BOEM

The Biden administration budget request for fiscal year 2023 asks for $237.4 million in total budget authority to fund the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s mission to manage U.S. offshore energy and mineral resources.

Carolinas offshore wind lease sale set for May

The Department of the Interior announced today that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has completed its environmental review and will hold a wind energy auction for two lease areas offshore the Carolinas on May 11.
