PAO NOVATEK (NOVATEK) announced that as part of the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum, its wholly owned subsidiary, NOVATEK Gas & Power Asia Pte. SCF Group has announced that it has signed agreements for icebreaking LNG carriers, reports LNG Industry.

What is in the agreement?

SCF Group has signed an agreement with VEB.RF Group, a Russian financial institution, for lease financing of the lead ship in a series of icebreaking LNG carriers expected to be built to serve the Arctic LNG 2 project.

At the same time, SCF Group claims that it signed a long-term time charter agreement with NOVATEK Group for this tanker.
