New shipbuilding standard covers cryogenic piping in LNG-fueled ships

A new ASTM International standard will be helpful to those designing thermal insulation systems for cryogenic piping and equipment for liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fueled ship applications. ASTM’s committee on ships and marine technology (F25) developed the new standard.

US airlines aim to keep it clean during COVID-19

The U.S. airline industry, although mostly grounded by coronavirus pandemic travel restrictions, continues to press forward with investments to develop biofuels to reduce aircraft emissions.
