Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) reports that its 27-foot Proteus unmanned surface vessel (USV) completed a successful demonstration off the coast of Panama City, Fla., on Friday, May 14.
The Proteus USV has been designed for the testing and development of autonomous capabilities and is fitted with Sea Machines Robotics’ SM300 autonomy system.
