Mawani, Bahri add new service linking Europe with Asia

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and Saudi shipping firm Bahri have announced the introduction of a new freight service connecting Europe and Asia via Jeddah Islamic Port.

Vessels on the new service will sail from the ports of Bremerhaven (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium), and Montoir (France) in Europe to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and then to the Indian port of Ennore, and the Chinese ports of Taicang and Shanghai.

MAWANI and Bahri to build logistics hub in Jeddah Islamic Port

The Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) and the logistics company Bahri have signed an agreement to jointly build and operate an integrated logistics park of 95,436m2 on land leased at the Jeddah Islamic Port. 

Once built, Bahri will manage operations for 20 years at the logistics hub, which will provide storage and handling services for all types of inbound and outbound shipping containers that are owned by Bahri and other entities.
