First zero-emission push boat christened in Berlin

Wabtec Q4 net income climbs on higher gross profit

Rail technology provider Wabtec saw fourth-quarter 2021 net income grow 116% to $190 million, or $1.02 per diluted share, compared with $88 million, or 46 cents per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Adjusted earnings per diluted share was $1.18, which is 20.4% higher year-over-year.

Parallel Systems gets $4M grant from DOE

Parallel Systems, a Culver City, California-based company that aims to produce autonomous battery-electric rail vehicles, has received a $4.44 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy initiative (ARPA-E).
