The Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA) has presented U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) with its Maritime Leadership Award.

Bollinger submits final proposal to build Stage 2 of OPC program

Bollinger Shipyards says that today it submitted its final proposal to the U.S. Coast Guard to build Stage 2 of the Heritage-class Offshore Patrol Cutter program.

If chosen, Bollinger would construct and deliver a total of 11 vessels to the U.S. Coast Guard over the next decade, helping to sustain the Bollinger workforce through 2031.

Coast Guard commissions fifth Bahrain-bound Sentinel-class FRC

Bollinger Shipyards LLC president and CEO Ben Bordelon joined senior U.S. Coast Guard officials yesterday at the Port of Tampa for the commissioning of one of the newest Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutters, USCGC John Scheuerman.

All Bollinger facilities open and operational

Bollinger Shipyards LLC today reported that all 11 of its facilities are now open and operational following Hurricane Ida’s landfall last month near Port Fourchon, La., as a powerful Category 4 storm.
