Los Angeles patrol boat takes Boat of the Year honors

WorkBoat’s Boat of the Year for 2020 is Boat 42, a 42’6″x13’4″x3’9″ patrol boat for the Los Angeles Port Police. The boat patrols Los Angeles harbor. Boat 42 was built and tested at MetalCraft Marine’s two shipyards — Kingston, Ontario, Canada and Watertown, N.Y.

VT Halter-built ships named WorkBoat’s 2019 Boat of the Year

WorkBoat names its 2018 Boat of the Year

WorkBoat recognized the 10 Significant Boats of 2018 and named its Boat of the Year at an awards ceremony at the International WorkBoat Show Thursday morning. The 2018 Boat of the year was the Enhydra, a 600-passenger hybrid tour vessel built by All American Marine for Red and White Fleet.
