Federal officials’ recommendation to ban tractor-trailers from the Bridge of the Americas in El Paso, Texas, is drawing criticism from members of the trade community.

Texas border bridge cargo operations suspended to assist with migrant influx

Commercial operations at the Bridge of the Americas in El Paso, Texas, have been temporarily suspended as a U.S. border agency reshuffles personnel in an effort to process migrants that have been arriving in the region.
