Still a transportation marvel, Golden Gate Bridge has eventful past

Deemed one of the “Seven Civil Engineering Wonders of the United States” by the American Society of Civil Engineers, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge is a symbol of architectural greatness and an integral part of transportation.

‘Painful mess’: I-40 bridge closure costing trucking industry $1M daily

The trucking industry has been taking it on the chin ever since the Interstate 40 bridge over the Mississippi River closed six weeks ago. The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) shut it down on May 11 after one of the agency’s inspectors found a cracked beam in the span.
