Japanese shipowner Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and compatriot company Cosmo Oil have joined forces by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to study ocean transport, with the goal of establishing a carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) value chain.
