UK Shipping Industry Brings in a Remarkable $25Bn To Its Economy

Center for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) quoted that the UK shipping industry brought in a remarkable GBP 19 billion (USD 25Bln) to the economy, an increase of 41% from 2010, and directly supported 181,000 jobs, reports Marinelink.

The UK Shipping Chamber, which represents nearly 200 members, and works with Government, parliament and international organisations to champion and protect the industry, welcomed the report.
