National Maritime Center launches renewal examinations via e-mail

On 1st of May, the National Maritime Center (NMC) will launch a centralized electronic delivery process through e-mails concerning the renewal examinations. In fact, this change offers mariners the ability to request, complete, and submit renewal examinations by e-mail while help them keep the flow of seafarers’ credentials.

Indian Ocean MoU: Decisions on COVID-19 per member state

Indian Ocean MoU published a table including decisions of each of its major member states regarding response to implications created by COVID-19 pandemic.

First solution fully compliant with latest cyber security rules

MPA Singapore: Guidelines on medical examination of seafarers

AMSA extends standards of training certification and STCW certificates

Due to the uncertainty that has been caused by COVID-19, AMSA informed that it is extending the duration of some certificates.

Starting from 24 February 2020, the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Maritime Administrator will issue the Declaration of Maritime Labour Compliance Part I (DMLC Part I) in electronic format only. An original hard copy will no longer be provided.
