Lyft drivers to receive discounted charging with EVgo

One of the core advantages of owning an electric vehicle over a gas-powered one is that, despite the higher upfront cost, charging and maintaining it is typically significantly less expensive.

BrightDrop delivers first electric vans to FedEx Express

BrightDrop has delivered the first five EV600 electric delivery vans to FedEx Express as the first step in an order that could result in 500 vans operating within the FedEx fleet.

Amply Power unveiled a shipping container portable EV charging solution.

Electric vehicle charging services provider Amply Power unveiled a semi-permanent yet portable charging solution called Inrush on Friday. Inrush uses repurposed shipping containers to hold multiple EV charging stations.

Drugs, younger drivers on trucking research group’s agenda

The nation’s top trucking research group plans to update previous studies on the effects of legalized marijuana and other drugs on truck safety along with integrating 18- to 20-year-old drivers into the industry.
