The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) welcomed its largest container ship ever when the CMA CGM operated Pusan C, a 9,500 twenty-foot-equivalent unit (TEU) vessel, called on Oct. 8 at the Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal operated by Ports America.

CEVA rejects DSV’s takeover approach

Swiss transport group Ceva Logistics rejected an unsolicited takeover approach from Denmark’s DSV, saying on Thursday the 1.53 billion Swiss franc ($1.55 billion) cash bid undervalued the company that went public only in May.

DSV takeover bid for CEVA Logistics rebuffed, but CMA CGM eyes bigger stake

CEVA Logistics has rejected an unsolicited takeover bid by Danish rival DSV worth around $2.5bn.
DSV confirmed today it had made an offer of CHF27.75 per CEVA share, which is listed on the Swiss stock exchange with a share issue of some 55m.
