SAL responds to coastal trading reform discussion

Shipping Australia has filed a submission in the latest round of coastal trading discussion reforms.

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications recently consulted with industry again about reform.

The current round of reform focuses on the way that cargo vessels are regulated under the Commonwealth’s Coastal Trading (Revitalising Australian Shipping) Act 2012.

SAL comment on Labor’s shipping policy launch

Shipping Australia representatives attended Mr Albanese’s Federal Labor party’s shipping policy launch for the 2019 election campaign, which was hosted by Maritime Industry Australia Limited (MIAL) at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
