$2.4m in cocaine found at Pt Lisas port

Police are searching for an Arima businessman whose name and address appeared on documents relating to a container where over two million worth of cocaine was found at Plipdeco.

According to police reports, officers of the Organised Crime and Intelligence Unit (OCIU) along with officers of Custom and Excise Division seized 24.56 kilograms of cocaine in a container destined for St Marteen.

Six Coast Guard cutters seized over 17 tons of cocaine worth an estimated $466 million during operations in Eastern Pacific international waters in recent months, Coast Guard officials said as the haul was offloaded Tuesday at Port Everglades, Fla.

Over 115 kilos of cocaine seized in port of Gioia Tauro

Italian police seized over 115 kilograms of pure cocaine in the southern port of Gioia Tauro in a major operation against the ‘Ndrangheta crime syndicate, authorities said on Tuesday.

The drug was hidden aboard a cargo ship inside a container carrying paper reels from San Antonio in Chile. The ship reached Gioia Tauro after a stopover in the Panamanian port of Rodman, and its final destination was the port of Livorno in central Italy.

140 pound of cocaine seized in Busan

South Korean authorities have seized more than 140 pounds of cocaine smuggled aboard a container ship.

Busan Main Customs said Monday (Dec. 17) that officers discovered a bag, containing taped packages with a total weight of approximately 140 pounds of cocaine and a potential value of $168, Yonhap News reported.

The container was first shipped on Oct. 17 in Ecuador, stopped by Mexico and docked at a port in the southern port city of Busan on Nov. 14. It was scheduled to arrive in China on Nov. 20.

Cocaine seized in Caen Port

Agents of the regional customs administration in Caen, northwestern France, have seized 1,662 kg of cocaine in the commercial port of Caen, the French Ministry of Public Action and Accounts said Monday (Dec. 10) in a statement.
