Further progress on IMO “Net-Zero Framework” in Working Group

Member States work to find convergences ahead of talks next week on proposed global regulations to reduce emissions from shipping, at the 83rd session of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 83) from 7 to 11 April.
The Intersessional Working Group on Reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions from Ships (ISWG-GHG 19) met for its 19th session from 31 March to 1 April 2025, chaired by Mr. Sveinung Oftedal (Norway). The meeting was attended by some 1,000 delegates.  (photos).
