Zulu unveils design for zero-emission short seas container vessel
Kappelen, Belgium, based Zulu Associates has unveiled a concept design for a 200 TEU autonomous short seas container vessel, the Zulu Mass. Featuring an auxiliary wind assistance system, it is being produced by Netherlands naval architect firm Conoship International and is being developed for operation across the English channel by Zulu’s subsidiary the Anglo Belgian Shipping Company,.

Holland Shipyards Signs Deal For Wind-ready MPP Coasters
- Holland Shipyards Group has won a contract for the construction of three multi-purpose coasters of 3,800 dwt from Hartel Shipping & Chartering.
- The new vessels, designed by Conoship, measure 89,42 m by 13,20 m and will have a cargo hold capacity of 5.530 m³ and a tween deck to allow for increased project cargo capacity.
