Conrad Industries, Inc. (OTC Pink: CNRD) has announced its 2023 results and backlog. Conrad reports a “challenging operating environment” in first quarter

Morgan City, La., headquartered shipbuilder Conrad Industries, Inc. (OTC Pink: CNRD) has reported its first quarter 2022 results.

The company had a net loss of $116,000 im the quarter compared to net income of $705,000 in the first quarter of 2021, when net income included $2.9 million in other income related to the Employee Retention Credit.

Conrad’s backlog was $136.5 million at March 31, 2022 compared to $148.5 million at December 31, 2021 and $193.4 million at March 31, 2021.

Conrad Shipyard to build two tugs for USACE

Morgan City, La., headquartered Conrad Shipyard LLC has won a $16,983,710 firm-fixed-price contract to build two tugboats for use in the Great Lakes. Bids were solicited via the internet with five received.

Work will be performed in Morgan City with an estimated completion date of Dec. 26, 2024.
